Bar Council Opportunities in the Employed Bar
Operational Notice Only: 18 January 2006 Employed Barristers' Committee Seminar Tuesday 13th February 2007 at 6pm The Spy Room, Gray's Inn The EBC is hosting a Seminar to highlight the role, value and character of the employed Bar and to provide an opportunity for those attending to hear about the opportunities available within the employed sector. There will be an excellent panel of guest speakers comprising Michael Butcher, Legal Director, Veolia Water UK Plc; Andrew Hall QC, Chairman of the Criminal Bar Association; Sir Ken Macdonald QC, Director of Public Prosecutions; Jeremy Ogden, General Counsel, Global Retail & Commercial Banking, Barclays plc; and Dame Juliet Wheldon, Chief Legal Adviser and Adviser to the Governor, Bank of England.
